This page presents a selection of experimental and unexpected artworks created between 2002 and 2007. The works range from semi-abstract pictograms and patterned compositions layered with thick paint, to post-9/11 introspective statements, and wild interwoven bodies and faces.

Most of them I can’t really explain — some paintings just happen. That doesn’t mean they lack meaning; it simply means their meaning comes from the gut — raw and unfiltered — for you to interpret.

Some of these pieces evolved over several years, with layers added from time to time. This is true experimental studio work, created for you to experience and enjoy.

The eight-panel piece at the end is one of those made live during the Peinture Fraîche show at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
