Laurent has been a friend for 20 years, we met in the South of France, where we both live now. The first collaboration we did was for the TV show Groland on Canal + France, where I was Art Director, and I asked him to create the introductive music for the show. From there we started collaborating on different projects along the years, such as me painting live on stage for him at the 2014 Coachella Festival, or at the Paris Fashion Week the following year, as well as creating the poster for the Yeah Festival in Lourmarin, or Radio PBB’s logos. A beautiful achievement after all these years has been his last album 33TEPSV in 2024, with a fantastic boxset featuring several paintings from the Strokes Series.
