RRR
RRR was an moving installation I made for the Arts Le Havre Biennale in 2012, on three Renault 5 from 1973/76 cars, as both a tribute to amateur car racing and a metaphor about social climbing (Renault 5 Rat Racing Club). The cars were showed around the city in different locations all along the Biennale.
As we are talking about Art In Motion, here are also a few more photos: a very rare Italian Vespa Gts250ie painted for Seven Gallery in Paris in 2010, with an assorted Ruby helmet, discontinued French excellence brand. A red Volkswagen Beetle painted for fun in LA in 2016, and in the same year, two surfboards painted for my friend and big wave pro surfer Nic Lamb, who won Maverick’s Competition the same year: a brillant athlete and Art Lover.
